Advanced Massage Techniques

The one-day course will cover the following:

This is a NEW one day workshop that will concentrate on massage techniques which are not covered in the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Body Massage. It will enable the therapist to concentrate on specific areas using a variety of palpation techniques to release tension and help to relieve painful areas. Covered on the course will be:

• Postural Analysis
• Palpation Technniques
• Myofascial release
• Triggerpoint therapy
• Neuromuscular Techniques
• Various stretches to help a client
• Different tools such as knuckles and elbows to relieve the therapist's hands

Course requirements...

Students must hold a recognised body massage certificate with Anatomy and Physiology e.g. ITEC, VTCT, C & G. Students will be awarded a Certificate in Advanced Massage Techniques from 'The Holistic Academy' and will be able to up date their insurance with the Federation of Holistic Therapists and other major insurers. CPD points will also be given.
