Thai Herbal Compress Massage NEW!

Friday 24th October, Saturday 15th November 2008

Thai Herbal Compress Massage

Course Description...

Thai Herbal Compress Massage has been practised by Thai healers and Buddhist Monks since the 14th Century and is becoming a very popular treatment in western Spas.

The deeply relaxing penetrating heat from the compress soothes the aching muscles whilst the essential oils released from the herbs are absorbed by the skin relaxing muscles to allow joints to move more freely.

This NEW One Day workshop will give you the opportunity to offer your clients a deeper more relaxing treatment than a manual masssage helping prevent repetitive strain in the therapist’s hands. It can also enhance your business by incorporating the compresses into your own massage or as a stand alone treatment leaving the client relaxed and energised by this restorative treatment.

The one-day course will cover the following:

Introduction to Thai Herbal Compress Massage

History of Thai Herbal Compress Massage

Sen Lines

The herbs and spices used in the compresses
