Who is the course designed for?

This course is designed for anyone with an interest in Body Massage. An interest in other people and an ability to communicate with the public is important.

What is the programme structure?

The course comprises of the practical aspects of body massage and learning the correct techniques to a competent standard. You will also study Health and Safety in a salon environment, Code of Practice and Ethics, professional appearance, customer care etc. Please note that anatomy and physiology is part of this course and home study is essential. Assignments and case studies will also form part of your portfolio.

How long does it take to complete?

The course is delivered in 6 days. However, the days will be divided to ensure students enough time to complete case studies and assignments to show evidence in their portfolios. On your assessment day, you will be required to sit multiple choice papers in Swedish Massage and Anatomy and Physiology and carry out a full body massage.

Lifetime VTCT Registration fee of £16.00 may be required.
